I recently had a quasi-gig at a Tsunami Benefit show on April 23. On the bill were a Poet, a Gospel Choir, a Metal Band, and myself. It was fun, but the show would have been such a trip if it was done better--look at the artists put together! I guess the song that I am relying on (a pseudo-single) is "No Hope":
There is no hope
There is no hope
There is no hope for the human race
See what we've done to ourselves
Is your faith make-believe?
To love or deceive?
Apparently doing as we please
Take my hand it will be okay
Take a chance rise above the flames
If all else fails I will be to blame hey hey
Take my hand it will be okay
We'll find a way through this maze of skeletons
Will we become who we hate?
There is no pain we cannot take
This is no fear we cannot create
There is no fate we cannot escape
There is no hope on your human face
Take my hand it will be okay
Take a chance rise above the flames
If all else fails I will be to blame hey hey
Take my hand it will be okay
In the end we will make it right
Darling darling darling please don't leave
In the end we will make it right
Darling darling darling come back to me
Take my hand it will be okay
Take a chance rise above the flames
If all else fails I will be to blame hey hey
Take my hand it will be okay
In the end she will make it right
In the end she will make it right
In the end she will make it right
Right now
Without doubt
Without fear
Without me
Yeah she will
Yeah she will
Yeah she will
